We take pride in providing our valued customers with high-quality products that are safe for their intended use. We are issuing this recall notice because we have received reports that several Lancaster Table & Seating branded Allegro plastic side chairs broke while in use. You should immediately stop using any recalled side chairs.
The chairs were sold in 14 different colors. Lancaster Table & Seating is stamped on the underside of the chairs. The chairs were sold in assembled form, constructed of glass reinforced polypropylene, and measured about 17 inches wide and about 33 inches in height. The chairs were sold from November 2020 to August 2023.
We put consumer safety first. In partnership with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), we are voluntarily recalling Lancaster Table & Seating brand single-piece plastic Allegro side chairs with the below fourteen model numbers.
The side chairs have beige, black, stone blue, blush, charcoal, olive green, orange, pistachio, candy red, light teal, sangria, teal, white, and marigold yellow colors and are constructed of single-piece plastic. The chairs were sold from November 2020 to August 2023.
In this recall, we are providing consumers a refund or a store credit.

How Do I Obtain My Refund or Store Credit?
Step 1
Verify that you have a chair that is included in the recall by locating the brand name printed on the underside of the seat bottom to confirm that it lists “Lancaster Table & Seating”. You will need to upload a photograph of the underside of the seat bottom using the link below in order to obtain a refund or store credit.
Step 2
In order to be eligible for the refund or store credit, your side chair must be labeled “Lancaster Table & Seating”. If your side chair satisfies this condition, please provide us with your contact information so we can issue a refund or store credit.
Step 3
To ensure that the recalled side chair can no longer be used, write "DO NOT USE" on the top of the seat in thick permanent marker or paint and then upload a photograph of the seat using the link below. You will need to upload a photograph of both the top of the seat where you have written “DO NOT USE” and the underside of the seat bottom showing the brand name. If you have multiple side chairs, number each seat consecutively and upload a photograph of each seat. The side chairs should then be disposed of.
Step 4
Certify that the chairs will be properly disposed of so that they can no longer be used.
