Whether you're just opening your first restaurant or are looking to replace the old tables in your establishment, this table base is the perfect choice for you! Designed to hold a 24" x 30" tabletop or up to a 30" round or square tabletop (sold separately), this base provides versatile options. This base will hold the tabletop by itself, without the support of additional bases for added convenience. This standard height table base makes it easy to create additional dining tables in your restaurant, cafe, or bar.

Self-Leveling Feet

This base includes 4 self-leveling feet. These levelers help keep tables secure and balanced when placed onto irregular or uneven floors. They can accommodate up to a 1/4" variance in the level of floors and lock into place for superior stabilization. They are also helpful in cases where you wish to align multiple tables together, by eliminating any height gap from one table to the next. All of these elements combine for fewer customer complaints and accidental spills caused by a wobbly table.

Durable Construction

A heavy duty, cast iron, cross shaped base offers durability and stability to your table. Plus, the base column is made of steel to support the heavy weight of table tops and their contents. It measures between 4 1/4" to 4 3/8" in diameter with a threaded interior rod that easily affixes to the spider plate. The spider is made of a heavy cast iron with 8 pre-drilled holes for the included pan head screws to secure the column to the tabletop.

The 3 stars are not at all due to the quality because this is well made and sturdy. I gave it only 3 stars because of a design flaw. I chose the 4" post because I thought it would be sturdier. But the post is hollow, so it wouldn't matter if it was 3" or 4". The problem is that the 4" post doesn't fit on the base or top. There are ridges that are to center the post, but because it is 4 inches, the ridges don't work. They are obviously for a smaller post. The biggest problem, and one I guess I'll have to live with, is that the post just doesn't fit the base. The post hangs over in 4 places when it is centered. This leaves openings between the base and the lower opening of the post. I see this as a "doorway" for both dirt and pests. If I order another, it will be the 3" post, because it seems this base is better suited for that and since the posts are hollow, it won't make a difference in sturdiness. The self-levelling feet work nicely and the materials are top notch. Shipping was super fast.
