5.0I wanted the wooden seat to go with the metal frame chair. My husband uses a tie-on cushion on his, but the rest of the family is fine with the wooden seat. Comfortable chair. (My first detached wooden seats were damaged in shipment, but the metal frame chairs were fine. Upon contacting the Co. they promptly sent out new seats - that were packaged separately (as the metal frames had already arrived). This time the wooden seats arrived in good shape and I did Not have to return the damaged ones.

3.0The product scratches very easily. It needs to have some sort of sealer on the wood to protect it. We will do that and hope that that helps.
